23 Things # 3 Response

The library provides many services ot its patrons, but could give access to so much more just by educating the public on the handy uses of the Google Web based apps.  Below are some I think our patrons would find to be useful.

I think that Google Docs could be usesful to our patrons if they need to create a document and they don't have access to a thumb drive.  Google Docs gives over a GB worth of space to save a document for retrieving at a later time.

With Google Books, you have access to Google's vast database of electronic books.  Here you can view just about any book in print.  I was able to find every book I searched for.  So, this could prove to be useful for our patrons if there is a book that's already loaned out and they are in dire need of it.

Since the library provides classes on how to patent, Google Patent could prove to be a useful tool in searching to see if someone else is already cashing in on their idea.
